Organizer Guideline
- Purpose and Scope
The purpose of this Organizer Guideline is to provide clear instructions and standards for organizing the Proceeding of Bengkulu-International Conference on Health (B-ICON). The goal is to ensure the smooth execution of the event, the publication of high-quality papers, and effective communication with participants and stakeholders.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conference Chair
- Oversee the overall planning and execution of the conference.
- Collaborate with the academic committee to finalize themes, topics, and keynote speakers.
- Ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely manner, in accordance with the schedule.
- Scientific Committee
- Select relevant and high-quality papers for presentation and publication.
- Organize peer-review processes and communicate feedback to authors.
- Ensure all papers meet academic standards and publication ethics.
- Proceeding Editor
- Manage the compilation and formatting of the proceeding in accordance with the publisher’s guidelines.
- Ensure proper citation, referencing, and adherence to formatting requirements.
- Collaborate with the Scientific Committee and reviewers to finalize the papers for publication.
- Conference Secretariat
- Handle conference logistics, including venue arrangements, registrations, and participant communication.
- Serve as the main point of contact for authors, speakers, and attendees.
- Ensure smooth running of the event on the conference days.
Submission and Review Process
- Submission Guidelines
- Authors must submit original, unpublished work in accordance with the conference’s themes and topics.
- All submissions must be done through the official conference management system before the deadline.
- The required paper format includes title, abstract, keywords, introduction, methodology, results, conclusion, and references.
- Peer Review
- Each submission will undergo a double-blind peer review process.
- Reviewers will evaluate submissions based on relevance, originality, quality of research, and contribution to the fields of health.
- Authors will receive feedback and may be required to make revisions before final acceptance.
- Revisions
- Authors are responsible for submitting revised versions of their papers based on reviewers’ comments.
- The final version must be submitted within the provided deadline to be included in the proceeding.
- Formatting and Publication Standards
All accepted papers must adhere to the following formatting guidelines:
- Font: Times New Roman, 12pt, single-spaced.
- Length: Full papers should be between 5,000–7,000 words.
- Citation Style: APA (American Psychological Association) or a style specified by the organizing committee.
- Figures and Tables: All figures and tables must be numbered and captioned, placed appropriately in the text.
- The proceeding will be published digitally with an ISBN/ISSN, and selected papers may be considered for publication in affiliated journals.

- Communication and Promotion
- The organizer is responsible for promoting the conference through academic networks, social media, and relevant platforms.
- Regular updates on the conference’s progress, deadlines, and key announcements will be shared with participants.
- Post-Conference Tasks
- Ensure that all papers and proceedings are properly formatted and submitted to the publisher within the agreed timeframe.
- Send certificates of participation and publication to authors and speakers.
- Conduct a post-conference review to gather feedback and assess the success of the event for future improvements.
